I'm looking at this RAM and it says 2T. I know from reading the FAQ sticky that it means it takes two clock cycles or something-but I just want to know: Is this faster or slower than 1T?

Also, between these two RAMs (the one I mentioned above and another) which one looks better (not counting the price)?

more expensive will be faster

1T will be faster, but only very very slightly, and I think (hopefully someone will confirm/deny/correct) that Amd couldn't use 1T (perhaps it was intel), the memory would still work, just would run slower than it could.

1T is faster than 2T.  both AMD and Intel can use 1T. some AMD boards have (had, not sure if it's still an issue) trouble with 1T and 4 sticks of ram.  between these 2, the cheaper R2 plat. is faster, at least at the timings stated.  i have the R2 plat. and it will run 4-4-4-12 1T @ 800 and 1.9 V.

Well I have two options: buy the Reaper edition and put it in my work PC, buy the Reaper and put it in my PC and give my work PC the Platinum, or just hold off for some better RAM on sale. Any suggestions?

I ordered the PC8500 2x2GB Reapers...they should be here tomorrow.  Now I wonder what would faster PC6400 @ 800Mhz 4-4-4-12 1T or PC8500 @ 1066Mhz 5-5-5-12 @ 2T
