Ok, i bought this motherboard becasue it was 28 bucks.
now that my excuse is out of the way, i am having trouble overclocking on this board. the manual says that i can overclock in th ebios under frequency. My problem is that under frequency, the fsb selector is locked and grayed out.
i have read reviews of people who boaght this board and oc'd it but i can't do it my self.
here is ecs's awesome customer service by the way...

I recently installed this board and i can't change the frequency setting even with a bios update. the manual states that i can change it but the option is grayed out and not selectable in the bios.
i was wondering if you guys know how to remedy this as i know other people who have overclocked on this board.
thanks,

If the option is grayed out then we do not recommend overclocking of any kind. Overcloking comes with its own risks.

am well aware that there are risks. i was wonderng why the option is there and not adjustable even though the manual states that it is. is there a way i can 'unlock' this feature?

That was the way the BIOS coders coded it.

so if you guys know how to resolve this via some unlock key that i don't know of or have had expirience with this board please help.
