i just got a question. i have 2 12inch UV cold cathode in my case,
you know those sun creams, with Uv filtering?, does that cold cathode affects skin or anything to your body?

All UV effects the dermis, the wavelength and exposure duration are the determining factors regarding it's danger.
UV also effects vision, the above applies to this too.

Personally they damage my eyes because i have light sensitive eyes but that's a personally thing. Worst thing it can do is annoy you from the light.

Blacklight contains high frequency visible light (violet, hence the colour), as well as UVA and near-ultraviolet (NUV) light, both of which are practically harmless since the photons don't carry enough energy to really smash your DNA.

In short, 12V (Used to power the UV cathode...right?) is not enough to cause any damaging effects on you.
