Looking to get a new monitor, will be used for gaming and work. The most I want to spend is $350, I have read many responses saying that the Samsung is a great gaming monitor, but was wondering how the other ones compared to it. The one I think looks the best is the KDS, since it has the higher possible resolution along with the low response time, but I have never heard of KDS so am unsure. What do you think?

226 BW...it is what I am looking at right now as I type. The only 'problem' is the c,a,s, panel debacle which I beleive they resolved, anyways I got a 'c' panel, a lower quality model, and with about 15 minutes and the proper calibration you can get it looking just as good as the 's' panel.

i have a Samsung 2232bw 22in 2ms 1680 x 1050.
i've seen nothing but good reviews from this but i dunno... its my first LCD and i think the only good thing about are the colours, clarity, size and the detail level with extreme bright and extreme dark dislplay. the things i didn't like were its extreme brightness (got used to it) and the bright pixels (RMA and get a new monitor still with bright pixels but next to zero pixel bleed and i don't even notice the bright pixels anymore :) ).

Samsung 22 inch BW owner here as well. TBH I have yet to see a lcd that looks even half as good as my ctr but as LCDs go this one is a great buy. 2ms is a must for gaming displayes. What graphics card and system specs are you running OP? Makes a big difference.
