More Information

I am overclocking a G0 Q6600 to 3.0ghz with 1.275 volts on the CPU. I a have a coolermaster sphere and a Gigabyte P35-S3g mother board with 2GB Kingston RAm (5-5-5-15).

Should I increase the vcore voltage, fsb voltage, or g(mch) voltage?

Is there any specific way to put the thermal grease on the processor?

Are idle temps of 43/38/36/40C good? If you they are good, how come they go up to above 62 when i use Prime95 (4 instances) or OCCT?

Thank you.

I appreciate this.
