Hello. My pny8800gt runs hot so I used rivatuner to set the fans to 50%. Is this considered overclocking? I set it to 60% at first and my system crashed, but 50% seems stable. Will 50% shorten my 8800gt's life or will it stress my 500W power supply? Also, I idle at 44C and under heavy load for hours at 65C. Are these numbers ok? Is it safe to leave the rivatuner setting to fixed fan 50% permanently? All help is much appreciated because I wont be able to enjoy my 8800 until I know that its safe. Thanks mates.

65 under load is fine I think; PNY cards often run hot anyway. You may wish to add an extra fan somewhere near the gpu to help out or if it's a a few months old you could unscrew the fan and clean out the dust.
