Hmmmm doesn't look that impressive.
Anybody with an 8800GTX or Ultra (if they have a compatible mobo) would probably do better just to grab another GTX or Ultra for SLi.
I'll bench mine later at those settings and see what I get with and without SLi.
Be interested to see where the 3870X2 would fit in... :D

Its 3DMark06.... dont expect a miraculous score off that piece of ****

Seriously people, why do most of you insist on judging a piece of hardware based on a 2 year old benchmark that bases most of its scoring on a Shader model that's no longer used in modern gaming situations. We've all seen the scores capable with a HD2900XT (over 30,000) using seriously overclocked hardware, but do you really think that this card wouldnt be capable of the same?
If these benchmarks were so genuine they'd MOST DEFINITELY of benched Crysis at the same time.

Wait till release day and then we'll see what the score is.

Ahh, but wait, maybe it's the drivers.
Yes, lets use the ATi fanboi line of "newer drivers will make the card RoXoRs" [:mousemonkey:1]

indeed lets monkey but how often does anyone care about drivers to come??? by that time the initial benchmarking has been done and so has the damage whether good or bad.
