Change it back.
Click on the Windows Vista globe on the taskbar and select "Control Panel." Select "Hardware and Sound" within the control panel.

Click on the properties tab labeled "Pointers." Click on the drop-down menu beneath "Scheme."

Select the Windows Vista scheme you want to use. After selecting a scheme, you'll see the cursor change in the preview area.

Select on the individual cursor icon if you want to customize the setting. Some examples are the "Text Pointer" and the "Link Pointer." Click "Browse" and choose your graphic from the list.

Click "Apply" to save your change to the cursor. Click "Ok" to close the properties window.
