I am having trouble updating BIOS. I tried Windows application and it fails while verifying. And when I try to use EZ-Flash 2 with DVD I get this error:

I tried various BIOS updates and it did not work. Please help.

I even tried with USB Stick but the stick was not recognized.

I am using Asus P5WDH Deluxe mobo.

You probably have the wrong BIOS/corrupt BIOS file.

I would say that you must have a corrupt BIOS as Shadow says. I have the same motherboard and haven't had any issues with updating the BIOS. I have never had any success doing it from Windows, I always use EZFlash. Good luck.

Clear CMOS and then try (if you are 100% that BIOS file is good).

also make sure you are putting the usb stick in before you shut down your computer and restarting it, then go into bios menu, maybe thats why it did not read it. hope this helps
