I have a psu that has a 4-pin and a 8-pin cpu connectors. I am running a E8400 processor. Which connector should I use?

I asked myself the same question and decided to plug in the 8-pin. According to the manual, the 8-pin is for extreme-edition cpu's drawing 130W. I have a Q6600 that I plan to overclock. Even though I don't expect to draw that kind of power, I don't see how having it available could hurt. I'm not sure what the power requirements of your E8400 are, but again I don't see how plugging in the 8-pin can hurt.
