hi i overclocked my cpu to 4.05ghz and i dont realy know what good voltage to put, help me plz


that is my spec:

cpu: E8400 dual 3 ghz

motherboard: p5q premium

ram: ddr2 1200mhz 2.3v

video card: his radeon hd 4870




i put my cpu voltage to 1.36250v and my ram to 2.3v all the others are on auto i dont know what i should put ont the others someone know ?
should i change the gtl ref or something like that ?

cpu:9x 450
ram:1199mhz
nb:400 mhz
pcie:100mhz



plz help me

Drop the mem voltage down to 2.2v. Any more than that and you risk shortening its life.

My guess is that you are running into your CPU limit more than chipset limit. If you want you can try bumping the voltages up a bit. I have never messed with that mobo but my experience has been that you usually don't run into chipset limitations until you get into sub-zero OCing.
