Second monitor only displays desktop screen.

Hello,
My LCD second monitor only displays the desktop screen. Mirrors the Microsoft startup, then the screen, but does not mirror after that. HP laptop with Vista connected to Dynex LCD by VGA cable.

You have to drag the primary monitor screen that you want, in the direction of the secondary monitor. For example:
if secondary was set up to the right (not physicallY located), but in display when you set it up:

1 - Reduce the size of the primary screen.
2 - Using the top bar, drag the screen to the right, and it will disappear
and appear on your secondary monitor.

(Drag to whichever direction scdy monitor is setup)
