have had this boad for about 3 years now and it does ptetty good, no problems, till I tried a ATI video card and started having all kinds of issues, I'm assuming from the drivers, so i wiped the hard drive and installed WIN XP again and the keyboard PS2 connector now has a problem, it doesn't work, USB connection is fine but the PS2 connector is dead, could a serial connection fix this? what do you think the problem is? I have a new 450 watt PS, less than 3 months old, got it for the ATI card, yes the video card needed aux power

Maybe you need a power supply change. Did you connect any leads from the video card to the ps?
