Is it normal for the first 2 cores to be 3-5 degrees hotter then the second 2 cores? On coretemp i am getting around 62 62 57 57 under 100% load from prime 95and my q6600 is OCed to 3.33GHZ with a TR-120 extreme.

Edit - i just forgot to mention my load.

So i don't have to remount my TR-120 extreme? I don't really want to remount it since its a pain when i first mounted it. Btw, i find that the higher your OC the worse the variation.

2-3 degrees is not out of the ordinary. My 120ex is not as tight on cores 0,1 because they are at the top and the weight pulls it down a little. you can verify this by putting a slight upward pressure on the fins and see the numbers change. I thought about getting stiffer springs or tie wrapping it up a little but it really isn't a big deal.
