I just recently overclocked my e6400 on my Gigabyte Ds3 up to 3.0ghz. Temps are 53 degrees max when both cores are 100%. However, I'm wondering if I can bump it up even higher. I have the voltage at 1.3250v and the multiplier 8x376. Everything seems stable, ran prime95 on both cores for 10+ hours with no errors.

I was pleased with the overclock after I installed my Xigmatek s128 cooler (awesome cooler btw). My case temps actually dropped with its installation!
Even though it is fun to have my cpu at 3 ghz, I think I might downclock it for now since I have not seen any noticable difference in performance at all. Just superpi 1million in 20 seconds.

Also, I have my ram timings at 5-5-5-15 on my OCZ ddr2 800mhz. Can I make those timings any tighter? I don't quite understand timings, so can anyone get me up to speed?

Lower timings is better than higher timings. Check your RAM's rated spec online, Newegg or manufacturer product page and set it to that with right voltages and speed. I wouldn't down clock it, 53C load is sick at 3.0ghz. My E4600 is overclocked on my Gigabyte P35 DS3L from 12 x 200fsb = 2.4z to 8 x 333fsb = 2.664ghz and my temps only went up about 1C idle, 7C load. Max load temp is 62C, you are totally fine, max temp you want it to go to is 65C< because at 71C it starts to throttle. I'm using a stock cooler and await a some cash for ACF7P.

I just found that my ram's timings are 5-5-5-10. So I'll change that.

Hehe, it is a sick overclock. My xigmatek cooler does amazingly well over stock. At 2.8ghz on the stock cooler I was hitting close to 65c.
I misred the voltage, it's 1.35v instead of 1.325v, but it hasn't needed more.
