Welcome all on tom's! :pt1cable:

I think you all know about unlocking VS and PS units in Riva Tuner. Because of my curiosity, I found, in my opinion, interesting thing about my card... I've tried to see if there was something to unlock. I don't know if there is some trick by Riva Tuner that there is 1 fictial PS unit "disabled" by default, so I didn't give it a try as I was afraid of burning out my whole computer or something like that. Here's the screenshot of my card:

That's GIGABYTE GV-NX76G256D-RH. And here is the screenshot of Riva Tuner, where it says about hidden PS unit:

Click on image to make it bigger. Notice Pixel Unit 2.

Anyone knows about it?

Thanks!

Hmm, that is odd. I personally haven't tried to look at rive tuner that close before.

But that doesn't matter. I doubt enabling it would cause any perm damage even if it turned out to be bad. I suppose if it were to be bad, having another video card on hand would make sure you encounter no problems, so you could boot with the spare, and have the 7600 in another slot, to turn it back off with Riva Tuner.

I think I will take a peek and see what the hell it is... Either way, maybe someone else knows, so this is bumped back to the top!
