if you are starting WC and on a budget get the Swiftech H2O-220 kit. it get loads of very good review and comment. google it and you should see them.

but if you are not on a budget go for something Dtek or similar.

the aquagate WC you provide it doesnt match the performance of the good air coolers. you are not exactly getting quiet cooling solution as there is still one 120mm fan on the radiator.

What did you end up getting?

Well I can only assume that your choice of watercooler system could be based from one of three reasons:

1) That you are relatively inexperienced with watercooling and you haven't done much research on the subject

2) You're cheap

3) You have a limited budget

Well, to answer your question about the two examples you gave us to look at - neither really lights a fire as far as something that might help you keep your system cup?) cool.

The coolermaster product has a given flowrate of 45lph. That translates to 11.88gph. When compared to the bottom line pump offered by Swiftech (MCP350) that is about 100gph LESS and 300gph LESS than their top of the line MCP355. That/s not only ridiculous but will end up being harmful to your system from a false sense of security. Top-of-the-line air coolers do much better than this. Bottom line: don't waste your money on this kit.

The Asetek LCLC kits were designed for OEM use as, according to Asetek, they would allow OEMs to offer computers with low-cost liquid cooling solutions. Now, it was impossible to find the technical specs on the pump other than it is a proprietary design integrated into the CPU waterblock (much like the coolermaster kits). You can read what THEY say it can do but as for its reliability, there isn't much testimony to support it (from impartial and credible testers).

Now, the questions are:
Are you serious about getting into liquid cooling?
Do you have a definite budget?

---------------
Swiftech Mcres-Micro Reservoir, MCP655 Pump, D-tek Fuzion CPU Waterblock w/nozzle kit, Thermaltake Toughpower 1200, Swiftech Stealth GPU Waterblock, 2 external dual 120mm rads (each with four 120mm fans in "push-pull" )

Agreed with Phreejak...either of those really aren't worth their money. If you are going to do it, do it. If you are going to do it half @$$...then just do air.
