Im looking at a Sapphire 2600xt 512mb gddr3 video card, but I don't like the fan it has on it. I want to know if its physically possible to put a Zalman VF700-Cu VGA cooler on it. After checking their manufacturer website I found the 2600xt isn't listed under its compatible or incompatible list of VGA cards. I know it technically might not be "recommended" to stick this on the card, but if it even gives a slight drop in its temps I would do it anyway. The 2600xt has one of those plastic cases built around the fan, im assuming you can remove it? If anyone has used either of these components before feedback is welcome!

If it's not supported, then most likely the cooler won't fit the screw holes at all. Unless you're gonna do some hardcore modding, I really don't suggest it.
