More Information

I need a more compact 92mm cooler for my case as it does not have the room for the 120mm S1283.

The obvious difference here between the S963 and SD964 is 3 heatpipes vs 4. But I am confused by the test results of both coolers on frostytech.com. On full fan speed, the 4 heatpipe SD964 does much better than the other, but on low speed they both perform exactly the same... how is this possible?

Also, they both apparently use the same 92mm fan, but the SD964 is much louder... how could it be that much louder? What's the deal with this heatsink? Is it worth paying $15 extra for the SD964 over the S963?

Or is there any other comparable 92mm cooler that you recommend?
