Looking to buy a new motherboard and was wondering which would be better a P35 or X38 chipset? I will be running only one GPU and a Q9450 cpu.

P35 because the main difference between P35 and X38 is that X38 supports PCI-E 2.0 @ full bandwidth and P35 supports PIC-E 2.0 too but not @ full bandwidth (which wont make a lot of difference for current
PCI-E 2.0 cards )
P35 supports Q9450 too and also P35 is alot cheaper than X38

i recommend u :
ASUS P5K
ASUS P5K-E WIFI
GIGABYTE P35 DS3R
GIGABYTE P35 DS3L
ABIT IP35 PRO

all of these boards are rock solid
