Make sure the cooler is seated well too, if it's not, no amount of undervolting will make it run that cool. --------------- ![]()

My Q6600 G0 runs stock 2.4GHz at 1.075V (BIOS) 24/7 Prime95 stable on a noname LC Power 550W (green power) PSU. I mention the PSU because it ran 3.0GHz at 1.24375V (BIOS) on that PSU and now runs 3.0GHz at 1.22500V (BIOS) on a Corsair HX 620W. I haven't tried lower voltages at stock but it could go a notch or two lower I guess.

I think the 5 new and 5 old thing is a coincidence.

5OLD:5NEW could be but a coincidence but it's not really an important detail I think. What I was trying to say is it's better to have a wider selection. Message edited by Andrius on 05-18-2008 at 08:28:29 PM |
