I ask becuase I am not getting any POST beeps on my new build :(

In the manual I am not able to locate any mention of a speaker other than the Front Panel Connectors (Pwer, HDD,etc). And the Antec 900 I am using does not have a speaker to connect to these pins.

Will continue to do some POST troubleshooting, but any help on this topic is appreciated.

Thanks,

Erick

No speakers on board for beep codes. It should have come with your case.

This is not good news. I am not able to locate a speaker connector coming from the case, and the manual refers to only the RST, PWR (2), and HDD LED connectors.

This is the same for both Antec cases I am looking at (900, P185).

Looks like need to either fashion a small speaker, or troubleshoot this build w/o the help of beep codes.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen.

So, I just bought a P182 and a GA-P35-DS3L... no post beeps for me? That is worrisome. I hope I do not have any troubles! Anyone know if you can buy a speaker with the right connectors?

Ummm... something is wrong here. I have the same board. On the p35-ds3l, the last four pins on the RIGHT ON THE TOP ROW on the bottom at the right hand corner of the board and the post speaker pins. Your case should have come with either a connector to hook there, or a mini-speaker that hooks directly to the board. Are you sure those pins are missing? I have Rev 2 of the board, maybe you have Rev 1? If so, send it back and get the 2nd one.
