Sorry if there is already a thread like this, but I did not have any time to Search for it. ok now to get to the point, In the bios, I cannot find the memory dividers. Is this because I have an outdated bios or is there a command I need to type to get to it.

Memory ratio should be listed right there. No commands.

when you set the FSB, you go look at the memory speed options, and instead of the divider itself, you will see the actual memory speed options change dynamically.

Perhaps you mean system memory multiplier?

The divider is the FSB strap ratio on Asus P5K. If you leave it to auto it will give you every available DDR2 speed available on the current FSB speed.

Look I have a P5k too so I should be able to help but first I need you to tell me what exactly you are looking for I mean is it
1. Ram speed selector - Change the speed of your ram
2. FSB strap- Changes the ratio at which the ram speed operates relative to Processor speed
3. Timings and voltages- self explanitory

Yes, so l did more research on my p5k. I figured everything out. As of this moment I am running my e6750 @ 3.2 ghz 400fsb 1.325v with my new patriot sticks running 1ghz @ 5-5-5-15 2.3v . So far my oc is stable running prime 95 @47C full load and 28C idle. Now what I want to do is run my proc at a 7x multi with tv FSb set at 500 and my ram at a 1:1 ratio, cpu at 3.5 maby 1.35v

Dont hold your breath on the 500FSB. You will fall short big time. You might get 420-430 stable however you would need to adjust more voltages then just the vcore.

For 500FSB look into a x38 or x48 mobo.

Run the ram at specs. 1:1 is not needed. Keeping the ram at its rated speed will allow more bandwidth for other hardware thats accessing the ram FSB. If you lock it at 1:1 your graphics card will post lower benchmark scores.

well, what I am going to try next is get the fsb up to 425 = 3.4 ghz, as well as that gets my memory to 1062mhz, my memory's full potential. I'm just hoping that I wont have to up the volts again because my proc was unstable @ 3.2ghz 1.275 volt. So now I have it running at 1.3125v perfectly stable.
