Hey all! I was looking at this hard drive for my build:

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (Perpendicular Recording) ST3500630AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

However, I waited too long and it is now deactivated. What's a good replacement? I looked at some Western Digitals and the reviews had a lot of them going bad after awhile? But that's all hard drives right? Anyways, what's a good replacement?

Once when I get this I'm good to go ordering all my parts for my new build! :bounce:

Thanks in advance!

Aaron

If I were you I would go for the black editions from Western Digital, but I couldn't see anyone of them at newegg. They are a bit more expensive also. But they offer really good performance! Hardware Canucks ( http://www.hardwarecanucks.com ) has tests on this one at their site using HD Tach.
