Hey, so here's the thing.

I'm going to attempt to build my own desktop soon, mainly because my laptop
just died, and I want to know if there is hardware available that will easily allow
me to mount my laptop's old 2.5" hdd into (as in, inside the tower) my desktop. I
know that I can use that adapter thingy to connect the old HDD via USB to any
other comp but I rather not have all these external harddrives hanging around.

So yeah, to sum up, like the subject says, putting a 2.5" hdd into a desktop 3.5"
housing without hacking stuff, possible? if so, hit me with a link!

The only reason you would get that is to transfer your data, do not use your old notebook hdd as your primary drive, it is going to be slow, a real bottleneck.
