Benq to ship Blu-ray burner next month

Benq is planning to ship its BW1000 Blu-ray burner to Europe next month. The unit can read and write to 25 GB and 50 GB Blu-ray discs at up to 2X speeds, which equals about 9 MB per second. Read more

Lite-On IT to roll out 18x DVD burner; BenQ still on hold

With Plextor recently announcing its PX-760A 18x DVD burner (DVD+/-R/RW CD-R/RW), Lite-On IT stated it also plans to volume produce 18x DVD burners in the third quarter of this year, though BenQ currently does not have any plans for the segment at the moment, according to executives from the two Taiwan-based companies. Hi, when i start burning a cd/dvd my pc seem to go completely mad.
I can do anything else while buring cause pc is extremely slow and audio and video while burning don't work.
CPU is running 60% with only nero working.

Any suggestion?
