More Information

Hi

I'm having serious problems with DVD-DL media at the moment the way i'm burning my backups is most probably correct dunno then. I sometimes burn my iso images directly or else simply burn my backups compressed & split into 200mb chunks.

Burners tested : Pioneer 108L & a built in Dell burner on another pc
Media Tested : Aone x4 (10 Spindle) Memorex x8 (10 Spindle)
Software Used : Magic ISO 5.3 Nero 7

Errors:
Pioneer 108L
Aone x4
Nero (Burning an ISO backup of 7.3Gb at lowest speeds possible)
1. Power Calibration error
2. Disk Failure ( This occurred whilst burning layer 2)
3. Data verification failed (Too much errors to continue)

Dell burner on second pc
Memorex x8
Nero (Burning an ISO backup of 7.3Gb at lowest speeds possible)
1.Disk Failure ( This occurred whilst burning layer 2)
2.Data verification failed (Too much errors to continue)

I also tried switching the media between pc's but still got the same results using alternative software burners also resulted in bad media. Therefore from what i can see the media seems to be incompatible :o
Your suggestions will be appreciated!

Thankyou
