Hello guys

My maxtor hard drive is not detecting even it was detecting when i attached with my computer time ago.

I don't care about my drive but all i need to recover my all data which is in my hard disk... is there any chance i can recover it. ( drive is not spinning).

I check all the method , cabling but nothing worked for me.

You mentioned you checked the cables but did you try plugging the drive into different ones, including a different power cable?

Do you have an external drive bay that you could plug it into?

There are professions that can recover data, but that is usually very expensive.

I have got 2 cables coming from my motherboard one is connected with main hard disk where the operating system is installed and secondly cable is attached with DVD drive when i plug this cable with my second hard drive then it does not detect any thing.

Basically it happened when i unplug the hard disk when my computer was on, since then nothing works...

Please suggest me how to recover my all data on that hard drive..

There is a program called 'Recover My Files'. I used it on a HD that was corrupted. I slaved the drive to an IDE connector and the program ran for 8 or 9 hours. It pulled up good files and also files that were unreadable as I had used a 'scrubber' in my Recycle Bin.
