More Information

I bought myself a new homebuilt pc and i got 2x seagate barracudas and a Asus P5Q Pro motherboard in hope of making a RAID 0 array. So i went to the BIOS as written in the manual and set storage from IDE to RAID. And then i pressed CTRL+I on bootup and created RAID 0 as it said in the manual. But now when i enter the windows CD it extracts some stuff and then says it cant install because it found no hard drives. Does anyone know what the problem is? Both disks are same and unpartitioned straight out of the box.

Did you hit F6 and install the raid drivers. You have to that when you setup a raid system for Win XP

you can make a driver disk for the windows install by booting up by the p5q driver disk. it should give you an option to create the necessary driver disk. Then hit F6 during the windows setup to install the drivers.
