i have a seagate 500gig sata barracuda hard drive that i want to install vista to. i currently have vista installed on an older barracuda sata drive so as i can get help off the internet for the problem. so alright the drive itself is detected in the bios and in my computer but i want to install vista on it the installer wont list it as a place where it can install to. both hard drives passed all tests by seatools and ive tryed running them both in differnt ports, sata controllers, and sata cords. it always returns to the one temp hard drive working and then my 500gig detected but not during the install. i have update to drivers and bios. any ideas?
