More Information

I am just considering setting up a software raid underXP Pro for a few performance boosts until I get a new motherboard. I have read and researched quite a bit, for a few hours now and thought I would post with a couple a gray area questions.
I create a normal partion on one drive for windows from what I understand then create two equal partitions on the drives to be stripped for programs and documents and other files. I was told to create 2 more partitions to be stripped for my pagefiles. I have 2 gigs of ram so I am going to put a page file on each of my Sata2 drives that are identical Seagate 250gigs 16mb buffers, of 2 gigs with the same drive letter. I am wondering how to alot the page files to these partitions, and do I do it before I stripe them or after I stripe them, I am thinking after?? I have 2 175gig partitions that are going to be simple volumes first created in dynamic disk space?? and 2-2gig pagefiles, I am going to stripe them all Raid0 through XP's disk management. I am just wondering if anybody has done this and could give me some tips on just what to do?? I have 2 250 gig sata2 16mb buffer seagates. I have seen some results from doing this and there is a substatial performance gain in loading games and other areas.
