I'm new here i'm pretty sure this is the place to post and ask here.

I want a media server/network storage. I need to be able to stream videos and music without any hiccups and store alot of information about 1tb. But i don't want it to cost too much if possible. I was looking around on newegg for some but the reviews were always mixed. I was about to buy the mybook 2 1tb but the read/write were said to be slow and some reviews said it won't store avi files. Can anyone recommend me a good nas/media server device?
