I want to get two drives for my build. I want two drives and I want one to be a dvd writer. I want to read and burn cds and dvds. What is a good top and bottom drive for me? $25 per drive would be nice. thanks

Yes, I use an Intel Quad. Sometimes its a little overclocked, sometimes a bit underclocked. Yet, its always nice and the virtualiztion is sick. And?

Do you want SATA or IDE? Does it matter?

There is about a $10 difference between DVD ROM drives and DVD burners. For the extra $10 I would just get 2 burners if I were you or buy 1 burner and a Blu-Ray ROM/DVD burner drive

Ok. The first one which is the samsung is one that I have been interested in. But it says that it uses a PATA interface. What's the difference between PATA and IDE, because I want IDE. Thanks.

PATA and IDE are the same. P is for parallel vs S f(as in SATA) for Seriel.
