My issue is i just installed an old seagate barracuda 320g sata hard drive that ive used in my current pc in the past to store all my music on. My problem is that when i power on my pc i just stalls and post and my HD activity led isnt active. if i hit restart button it works fine. im using the hd on my computer so i can access it and it seems to be working i just dont like the idea that the hard drives arnt powering up. any suggestions?

no suggestions? i switched sata ports around and now have them controlled by the gigabyte controller and have them in the first 2 ports. i thought it fixed it but after a couple restarts same problem
