I was looking at these two motherboards and they cost relatively the same, so which one is better and should i buy?

Looks like the M2N-E has on board firewire, which the other doesn't. If you don't need the SLI and onbard firewire, you'd be better off with something like this, which has the 570 rather than the 500 chipset

M2N4 SLI is based on NFORCE 4
M2N-E SLI is based on NFORCE 500 ,i say go for M2N-E SLI , and also i agree with g-paw , if u dont need SLI , go with M2N-E

I may be reading this wrong but looks like the M2N4 is also based on the 500, which is really not all that important given we agree that the 570 would be a better choice regardless.

yes u r right , it was another board ,


but ASUS M2N4 doesnt support next gen AM2+ support according to asus :

but M2N-E and M2N-E SLI support AM2+

Get the 570 i have it and it runs very nicely. if you get it you wont be going wrong.
