More Information

I'm considering getting the new Biostar Tforce 560 A2+ and i saw that it supports "Hyper Transport Technology up to 2G". The cpu I would be using with this board is the X2 3800+ Windsor core (ADO3800IAA5CZ, with the F3 stepping.) with Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2 800 ram. So now my question is...since there are reports of being able to overclock this processor with the F3 stepping up to 3.4GHz on water cooling, would i be able to leave the muliplier on 5x and run the HT link at 1700mhz?

even if i have to take it down to 3X that would put me at 1020mhz, but i know that socket 939 boards and am2 boards get unstable at anything above 1000mhz. does anyone think that it could be possible to run stable at a max ht link of 1700mhz?
