Hello!

I have Samsung 52X CD-rom drive(CD-Master 52E Model SH-152). This Drive Not detect in BIOS. But the drive is working fine. I can play Audio CD's well(Analog mode CD-rom Play button). But IDE interface not working(I've check Jumpers well). That's why BIOS not detect this drive. What can i do to Fix this problem?

Make sure the BIOS is set up to use ATA. Try a different cable and/or mobo connection

This problem is not the motherboard error or BIOS settings. Samsung Rom IDE side not working. thats why BIOS not detect it. I check this drive other PC's. I thing CD-ROM controller chip working without IDE controlling side(I was think). What's happen to this damn rom?

I've updated the firmware on my Samsung DVD burner with no problems. In fact Samsung has a program that will search their site for the firmware for your specific drive and install it. Updating the firmware would be worth a try
