More Information

I have installed a 1TB Maxtor Shared Storage II NAs device on to my Netgear DG834GT Wireless Router/Modem - both fully patched to the latest firmware levels.

My problem is that the Maxtor admin software doesn't recognise the device and, although I can set up accounts and file storage via the web interface, I cannot map a drive to the device. Has anyone got any bright ideas to help me set this up before I return it or any suggestions on better options for small NAS devices that will work with the DG834GT?
