More Information

Hello guys, I'm freaking out here.

I'm holding an upcoming LAN tomorrow evening, and while setting up a few computers at home, I noticed something very screwy.

The host computer (which will be a server for all the games), is an XP.

A friend has a new Vista Premium laptop that I am setting up. I am on the LAN, and can see the XP computer. I can even go into it and grab shared files. But whenever I start a server on the XP PC, the Vista one can never see it!!!! I can't even connect to the IP, it just hangs.

I tried making a few other servers on the other computers, but this laptop wont' see any of them. All of these computers are off of the same router. Let me know and thanks!!!

What the hell do I do? Any help would be crazy appreciated!

(REALLY IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE:...I have another Vista Laptop that is showing none of these problems. This laptop can join the XP server every time!)
