Hello,
my son forgot password to desktop cannot get to boot up, i do have recovery disc, tried to do alt f10 no help please help me tis computer is like new

The recovery disk won't help with the password issue, it will re-install the operating system and applications to the configuration it left the factory with, thus erasing any files you have on the system.

If you google "reset windows password" you will find much help for this issue. You won't get further help removing/changing/etc passwords here in the forum (against the rules).

BTW, do you have an Administrator account setup on the system that you can use (other than the one your son locked you out of)?
