Hi

I want to tune my computer so i get a higher score in 3dmark 06. I tried just to OC it, but it didt score more than 12k @ 3200mhz. What in bios should i change, and how high can this cpu go with stock cooler?

Gpu- PointOfView GeForce 8800GTX 768MB PCI-E
Cpu- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz Socket LGA775, 8MB, BOXED
MBO-Asus P5K3 Deluxe, P35, Socket-775, DDR3, WIFI, eSATA, ATX, 2xGbLAN, 2xPCI-Ex16
Memory- Corsair TWIN3X 1066MHz DDR3, 2048MB, Kit w/two 1GB XMS3 modules, CL7-7-7-21

How did you o/c it? bios or software?

 

Q6600 on stock cooler won't go too high. 3.2 is probably the maximum, unless the pc is in an a/c'ed room. Disable throttling features. Leave the ratio at 9 and up the fsb to 333. Set the dram settings to specs.
