Today Microsoft Security Essentials detected a threat on my PC. I clicked on 'Clean Computer' option and it said that the computer is cleaned and I will have to restart the PC.
Later it showed the status of the PC as protected.
When I checked the history ,

It was as follows
WORN:IRC/Povgon-Severe- 04-01-2012 19:45 Allowed
WORN:IRC/Povgon-Severe- 04-01-2012 19:43 Removed

It is strange how a deleted file is later allowed.
The file that was detected as infected was a log file deep within Oracle's folder
Path:C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\admin\XE\bdump\alert_xe.log

Anyone knows what is going on?????
Please Help. Suggestions welcome....
