i wrote a longer post but forgot to select a stupid subsection and lost the whole thing, i haven't posted in weeks and didn't have to do it last time so thanks tom :)


Everytime i put in a disc it will spin fine, but i have autorun disabled so nothing appears. so when i go into my computer and double click the drive, the launcher will crash, explorer will then crash then i get a bsod. have tried numerous discs but nothing will work in it.

anyone else having problems or any fixes?!? thanks

I just bought the drive and it hangs at the detecting drives screen. I can't even load my OS. Any thoughts?

Reseat cable.
Try a different port.
Try a different cable.
See if you can disable/reenable it in bios.
Try it in another machine.
Exchange it.
Take two aspirin and go to bed.
