More Information

Hey all.
1)I was just wondering, why is it that even though that I have SpeedStep disabled in the bios, it still controls my CPU's speed and voltage? (Asus Commando mobo with an e6600)
2)This one is related to overclocking since I am overclocking my cpu and I'm still new at it. Why is it better to run the cpu at a ratio of 1:1 with the ram even though my ram right now is running at 667mhz when it is rated to run at 800mhz (and I know it can even exceed that), would it affect the performance much if I changed the ratio to 3:4? And if so in what way (better, worse)? I know running it at 1:1 gives much more room for overclocking the cpu, but what if I am currently satisfied with the overclock I got and don't need much more? (e6600@333x9)

Thanks in advance.
