More Information

I recently reformated my hard drive. I reinstalled every thing and it all works execpt for some reason windows can't detect my network now. My internet still works though and I updated my network adapter drivers too and same thing.

When I unplug my ethernet cord that little icon doesn't pop up telling me that it's unplugged and also when I try to create a new network connection no matter what option I chose then click next it won't go to the next step.

I also noticed when I open Windows Task Manager and go through the tabs it loads up that tab fast except the networking tab which appears frozen for about 5 seconds till it pops up.

When I go to run and type cmd then type ipconfig it pops up a error "This application has failed to start because MPRAPI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Which is odd.

I didn't have this problem before I reinstalled Windows, so I'm confused on how this problem could have came about.
