More Information

Hello everyone, recently, I attempted to sign up for a forum website but it noted that it could not give me access cause my IP was either a) using an open proxy b) blacklisted c) compromised & or malicious.

I have NEVER used any sort of open proxy websites or willingly tried to apply something that would hinder my connection.

Is it possible my connection/computer has a backdoor, zombie, worm, etc? Is there a way I can fix this?

If it helps to know, I recently switched my router from a horrible D-Link one that gave my network constant disconnects to a more stable Belkin N1 router. Strangely, I have noticed that it was perfectly fine after purchase but a few weeks later it would give me rare disconnects and connection failures for my wireless. I'm not sure if this is related to the quality of the router or not.

Thanks in advance for any insight / advice!
