the problem i seem to be having is that i have just purchased a new system about couple weeks ago, and the router im using works great, the only problem i seem to be having now is trying to access my router , the typical admin / password login is being blocked somehow to redirect me to my accessed router, everytime i try to login it gives me a long load screen and keeps asking for a username and password. eventually it gives me a 401 error unauthorized, ive tried even putting in my wirless info to connect, i have the new system directly connected and old system wirlessly connected, and input the wireless info to connect fails as well, im using Vista Home Primeum 64bit not sure what i gotta do to access my router but any advice would be greatly apreciated

Follow the manufacturers direction to do a factory reset on the router. You will then need to change the login password and reset any special settings you have. Something got messed up and see this as the easiest solution.
