hello everyone..

I just had a question. Right now i have Eset smart security installed, and when i try to access my VPN, it connects, but i can't access any of the files at my office. When i turn the firewall off, however, i can access my office files. But when i restart the computer, the firewall turns on by itself. does anyone know how to get passed the file access problem w/o disabling the firewall, or is there anyway to turn it off permanently?

Thanks,

S. Roy

This is an allow problem on the Firewall. You need to go into the firewall config and allow the VPN full access through and whatever ports your VPN may be using full access. I am not familiar with the Eset but i am sure there is documentation out there that can help you with this.
Some additional questions i have are:
What VPN client you are using?
What OS?
What type of firewall are you connecting to?
