My web filter K9 Web protection is doing a great job but falters with some searches like "velvet sky" on Google images.I want to block such searches.

Don't think you will find free tool for blocking certain search keywords. But your title says URL blocking. ?

A host manager would block access to malicious sites. You could manually add your own entries for URL's that get past your K9 APP, but would be most time consuming.
