OK, the board supports RAID 5...

I am ~~assuming~~ this is software for the X-OR calculations (ie NOT hardware RAID5) , but I can't actually find it anywhere in the documentatiion of the board.

Does anybody know for sure?

The only motherboards with on-board hardware RAID with a processor for the XOR calculations are high end server boards.

The nVidia solution is software.

That's what I figured, I wish the documentation would actually say that however.

~~apparently~~ Hardware XOR will be coming soon to workstation boards from ASUS, which would be nice.
